Guanyang Red Army Pavilion

The Guanyang Red Army Pavilion is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Red Army Pavilion is situated on both banks of the Guanjiang River near the Wenshi Town Government. Originally built in the Qing Dynasty, it was the site where the Red Army crossed the Guanjiang River and engaged in battle while marching through Guanyang during the Long March. The pavilion’s foundation is made of large square stone slabs, and it includes protected embankments, steps, and a dock. The interior floor is laid with long and square stones, topped with small blue tiles, and the structure combines wood and stone. Standing 5.2 meters tall and 3.4 meters wide, the pavilion features an elegant and traditional design with distinct local characteristics. It serves as an educational site for patriotism and revolutionary heritage. On May 25, 2006, it was designated as a National Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.
