Headquarters of the Third Red Army Corps This site is located in Binjiaqiao Village, Shuiche Township, Guanyang County. It was the private residence of Yuan Ganggong, styled Jiuru, in the village. Originally built during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty, the building consists of upper and lower sections, featuring a central courtyard and wing rooms. Constructed with brick and wood, it is adorned with small blue tiles and decorative ridge-end tiles. The exterior is decorated with horse-head walls, and the front gate is flanked by a decorative "eight-character" wall. The walls on both sides are inscribed with the three characters “Jiuru Hall,” and the structure faces south with a northern orientation. It covers a total area of 289.9 square meters and is currently well-preserved. In November 1934, the Third Red Army Corps arrived in Shuiche from Hunan via the Leikou Pass. After reconnaissance by advance troops, the largest building in the village at the time — “Jiuru Hall” — was chosen as the headquarters. General Peng Dehuai, commander of the Third Red Army Corps, directed operations from there. On May 25, 2006, it was approved as a national-level cultural relics protection unit.
