Qishan Rock is located 12 kilometers northwest of the county town at the foot of Sifang Mountain. It consists of three caves — upper, middle, and lower — commonly known as Open Mouth Rock. On the left side of the cave opening stands a large slightly forward-leaning stalagmite, as if welcoming visitors. The stream’s exit is unusually wide, resembling a dragon spitting out pearls. The upper part of the cave entrance is covered with shrubbery, looking like the dragon’s whiskers. Beneath the riverbed, huge rocks larger than baskets lie scattered like pearls spat from the dragon’s mouth. Inside the cave entrance is a spacious and serene area, with stalactites hanging from the ceiling and pebble beaches below. Clear streams babble, creating a charming interplay with the light streaming in from the cave top, forming a beautiful scenery reminiscent of an underwater dragon palace. Currently developed into the Qishan Rock Scenic Area, it attracts countless visitors who come in droves and find it hard to leave.
