Tomb of Liu Yongfu’s Father
The tomb of Liu Yilai, father of Liu Yongfu, leader of the Black Flag Army, is located in Naminh Village and was built in the sixth year of the Xianfeng reign during the Qing Dynasty (1856). The Qing government had once constructed five archways several hundred meters apart around the tomb site, each inlaid with “Imperial Honor” steles bestowed respectively by the Vietnamese emperor and the Qing emperor. Most of the archways collapsed in the late Republican era. In June 1985, the county cultural relics management office erected a memorial stele for Liu Yilai’s tomb and installed a cultural heritage protection sign nearby.
