The Zhongshan Memorial Hall in Fusui

The Zhongshan Memorial Hall preserved in Jiucheng Village, Dongmen Town, Fusui County, is a commemorative structure built in 1936 through the initiative and donations of patriotic overseas Chinese from Vietnam to uphold the revolutionary legacy of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. The memorial hall is an architectural work that blends traditional Chinese style with Western design elements. It is a two-story building with a floor area of 140 square meters, facing south and featuring three bays in width and depth. Constructed with brick and wood, the front facade of the building is octagonal, showcasing typical Western architectural features. The rear part of the building has red walls and grey tiles, with a flush gable roof and a straight ridge. It is a prime destination for youth patriotic education.
