Xialiantang Scenic Area

Xialiantang Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Xialiantang Village is located in Wuxuan County, Laibin City, Guangxi. It sits 27 kilometers south of Wuxuan County and 8 kilometers from the renowned Baiya Grand Canyon Scenic Area. This village is no ordinary one — blessed with beautiful natural scenery, rolling mountains can be seen to the southeast, while the Baiya Grand Canyon lies to the north. The creek from the Baiya Grand Canyon flows around the village on both sides from the north to the southwest. To the east of the village, there are thousand-acre tea plantations and an ancient temple dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

There are over ten ponds of various sizes within Xialiantang Village, the largest of which, Liantang Lake, covers about 40 acres. The surrounding area features lush forests, including nearly 100 acres of old longan trees and more than 20 ancient trees over a hundred years old. It is recognized as a four-star rural tourism destination in Guangxi. Every spring, the village is enveloped in fields of rapeseed flowers, attracting visitors from nearby areas to take photos.

In addition to its natural beauty, Xialiantang Village also boasts magnificent cultural landscapes and a rich historical heritage. From the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China era, it produced eight generals. Two ancient buildings still remain today.
