The Dongxiang Revolutionary Martyrs' Tower dates back to the People's Republic of China era and is located in the center of Dongxiang Street, Dongxiang Town.
The Dongxiang Revolutionary Martyrs' Tower is among the fourth batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Wuxuan County.
Dongxiang Town: Located 25 kilometers east of Wuxuan County, Dongxiang Town covers a total area of 135 square kilometers, with arable land spanning 33,290 mu—including 18,150 mu of paddy fields and 15,140 mu of dry land—making it one of the county’s stable and high-yield agricultural regions. The town has increased investment in education, successively raising funds to build educational facilities such as the comprehensive building of Dongxiang No. 2 Middle School, teachers’ dormitories, and sports venues. Fiscal revenue has grown steadily, increasing from 2.51 million yuan in 1995 to 2.96 million yuan in 1998, with an average annual growth rate of 6%.
