Yao Mountain Village Qunshan Tun
Nestled against mountains and beside water, this place is brimming with spiritual energy. With picturesque scenery, peculiar rocks, mysterious caves, and a land of exceptional people, it is home to the Confucian Xianghe Academy, the Taoist Tianxian Temple, and the Buddhist Bao’en Temple—embodying Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism in harmony yet with their own distinct identities. The Tun’s Shuangji Mountain is widely renowned. The caves on the mountain are steeped in legend, featuring a naturally formed statue of Guanyin, an image of Bodhidharma meditating facing the wall, the “Buddha’s Light” Cave, and other wonders. Surrounding Shuangji Mountain are four water systems: Fu Long River, Lu Ling River, Shou Chun River, and Cai Zi Canal. Blessed by these four waters, the surrounding pristine vegetation remains lush all year round.
