Situated within Tengcheng Town, it is one of the ancient Eight Scenic Spots of Tengzhou, known as "Clouds Circling the Literary Ridge." On the eastern ridge stands the Four Kings Pavilion, built in honor of the Taiping Rebellion heroes: King Ying Chen Yucheng, King Zhong Li Xiucheng, King Shi Li Shixian, and King Lai Lu Shunde. At the northern foot of the mountain is the Chrysanthemum Champion Pavilion, commemorating Wuzhou’s victory in the chrysanthemum competition during the Republican era. At the mountain’s summit are the Revolutionary Martyrs’ Memorial Pavilion and the Revolutionary Martyrs’ Monument. The Four Kings Pavilion faces east with a slight southward orientation, standing about 8 meters tall with a depth and width of 8.40 meters each. It has 16 square reinforced concrete terrazzo pillars. The pavilion features a pointed, multi-tiered roof with two levels and is covered with yellow glazed tiles. Beside the pavilion, there are marble plaques inscribed with brief accounts of the Four Kings and cultural heritage protection signs. The Chrysanthemum Champion Pavilion also faces east with a slight southward tilt, approximately 5 meters high, 5.25 meters in both depth and width, and constructed with reinforced concrete. It has four square pillars and is adorned with thick iron sheet decorations resembling the longevity curve along the eaves. A marble plaque beside the pavilion provides an introduction to the structure and includes a cultural heritage protection sign. The Revolutionary Martyrs’ Memorial Pavilion faces west with a slight northward lean, around 5 meters high, supported by four circular brick pillars and equipped with guardrails. The Revolutionary Martyrs’ Monument was dismantled in 1990 and relocated to Dongshan Park. Chicken Valley Mountain is covered with dense woods that block out the sun, presenting a lush, verdant scene. From the mountaintop, one can overlook the entire panorama of Tengcheng. Looking north, the Xun River flows from west to east, merging turbulently with the Xiu River in the northeast, stretching as far as the eye can see.
