Itinerary Overview
Days 1–3: Seoul → Day 4: Busan → Days 5–6: Jeju Island. The KTX takes about 2.5 hours between Seoul and Busan, and the flight from Busan to Jeju takes around 1 hour.
Days 1–3: Seoul
- Day 1: Gyeongbokgung Palace (rent a hanbok for free entry) → Bukchon Hanok Village → Samcheong-dong → Insadong.
- Day 2: Myeongdong → N Seoul Tower → Itaewon → Banpo Bridge Moonlight Rainbow Fountain (night).
- Day 3: Hongdae → Yeonnam-dong cafes → Gangnam shopping district → Apgujeong / Garosu-gil.
Day 4: Busan
Haeundae Beach → Busan Tower & Yongdusan Park → Gamcheon Culture Village → Jagalchi Market & Gukje Market. The Haeundae nightlife and fresh seafood at Jagalchi are two highlights of Busan.
Days 5–6: Jeju Island
- Day 5: Hallasan Mountain or Udo Island → Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak → Seopjikoji → Haenyeo performance.
- Day 6: Jeju Folklore & Natural History Museum area → Cheonjiyeon Falls or Jusangjeolli Cliffs → Depart from Jeju Airport.
Tips
- KTX tickets can be purchased via the Korail app or station ticket machines; it’s recommended to book in advance during peak seasons.
- For travel from Busan to Jeju, flying is recommended—ferry tickets take longer and are more affected by weather.
- Public transport on Jeju Island is limited; renting a car or hiring a private driver is more efficient.
